Your plate has arrived and you are ready to go. Activation takes just a few minutes and is done straight from your phone, using the tap and scan link on your own plate.

Included free with every plate

Every Digicue Review Plate includes free access to tap.digicue.com.au, where you can activate your plate, access Connect Analytics, manage your Connect Hub, and track customer scan and tap activity.

Before you start

You will need:

Your Digicue Review Plate
A smartphone (iPhone 7 or newer, or a modern Android)
A minute or two

There is no separate app to install, and no generic activation button to hunt for. Your plate carries its own link that takes you straight to your setup.

Activate by tapping (NFC)

On iPhone, NFC is on by default. On Android, make sure NFC is switched on in your settings.
Unlock your phone.
Hold the top of your phone near the centre of the plate.
A notification will appear. Tap it to open your activation page at tap.digicue.com.au.
Follow the prompts to connect the plate to your business.

Activate by scanning (QR)

If your phone does not tap, the QR code works on any camera phone.

Where your activation link comes from

Each Digicue plate is encoded with its own unique tap and scan link. That link is what opens your activation page, so you always land on your own setup rather than a shared login. Keep your plate handy during setup.

Troubleshooting

My tap is not working

Check NFC is switched on (Android settings). Remove a thick phone case, which can block the signal. Hold the top of the phone close to the plate and hold steady for a second. Still nothing? Use the QR code instead, then contact us. We replace any faulty plate free of charge.

My QR will not scan

Use your phone camera app rather than a separate scanner. Make sure the code is clean and well lit. Move a little closer or further away so the camera can focus.

Why does my plate open the activation page instead of my Google review page?

New plates must be activated first, so they open the activation page until setup is complete. Once you have finished activation, every customer who taps or scans will be directed straight to your Google review page.
