Beside the till
Customers stand here while paying. Face the plate towards them, clear of cups and the card terminal.
Collection counter
For takeaway, the wait for an order is the natural pause. A plate at eye level on the counter works well.
Reception or host stand
For table service, the goodbye at the door is the spot. Keep it at the point where the bill is settled.
A neutral invitation
A staff line that works: “If you’d like to leave us a Google review, you can tap or scan the plate.” Say it once, then move on.
The plate does the asking. Customers who want to share their experience can; nobody is pressed, and no rating is suggested or pre-selected.

Setup
From order to first tap
Order
Choose your product and pack. Orders placed before the daily cut-off are dispatched from Melbourne the same business day.
Receive
Each plate arrives with an adhesive mounting strip, its activation code printed on the plate, and a quick start card.
Activate
Tap or scan the plate. The Customer Portal at tap.digicue.com.au opens. Confirm the activation code, sign in or create an owner account, and add the destination customers will open. Allow about five minutes.
Place
Test it with your own phone, then put it where customers can easily see and reach it.
Questions from this industry
Will a busy counter knock it about?
The plate mounts flat with the adhesive strip supplied. Wipe it with a damp cloth; it has no screen or battery.
Can I use one plate for two tills?
Each plate has its own activation code and destination. A 3 pack lets you place one at every till and see activity per plate in the Customer Portal.
Do customers need our wifi?
No. The phone uses its own connection to open your Google review form. The plate needs no power.
